MaxUS Operations, LLC is seeking an Accounting Manager to coordinate and manage the accounting functions for its manufacturing operations, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of its financial statements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain the general ledger and all related accounts with proper documentation and records of all company transactions
Further develop and manage the accounting staff and management of day to day department activities
Oversee A/P function, including review and payment processing
Oversee A/R function to ensure Order to Cash value stream is optimized
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
Assist in the safeguarding of company assets through ongoing improvement of audit controls
Ensure accuracy of month-end closing activities
Reconcile, investigate, correct and adjust accounting information in accordance with deadlines
Review and analyze data for completeness, material changes, variance and other appropriate information
Assist in coordinating the year-end financial audit and prepare schedules and documents for audits and tax reporting
Assist in preparation of compliance reports
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
Lead accounting process improvements and change initiatives, streamlining processes, and creating efficiencies within the department
Requirements:
A Bachelors degree in Accounting - Required
A minimum of 7 to 10 years accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
Commitment to meet deadlines and ability to effectively manage competing work priorities
Attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent analytical skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, specifically Excel, Word and Access
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP system
