We are now hiring for Full time Shipping Clerk Assistants who will bridge the gap between our shipping team and the office coordinator which includes office and production environments.
What does the job entail?
Responsible for printing of appropriate shipping papers and preparing outgoing shipments with proper labels.
Stages materials to appropriate areas and maintains work in process in an orderly manner.
Maintains records of supplies and materials in process at work stations.
Understands all aspects of material(s) flowing into and out of the facility, and processing documents to support.
Verifies delivery and shipping receipts for accuracy including but not limited to items such as PO numbers, counts, and descriptions of items being shipped/received.
Locates items on delivery lists and determines status of any products to be shipped.
Works closely with staff in evaluating current methods, conditions, and procedures related to shipping and suggests changes/modifications to improve
Records and submits accurate production and quality data, work records, etc., appropriate to the job.
What do we require?
Prior forklift experience preferred
Must possess basic reading, writing, mathematical, and computer skills
Strong interpersonal and decision making skills, along with the ability to work alone, or within a team setting
Must be at least 18 years of age
Pre-Employment Background Check and Drug Screen is required prior to hire
