Altra is seeking a driven, dedicated, and motivated individual to fill our Project Manager position. The role of the Project Manager is to primarily assist with the coordination and completion of projects, maintain project manager software, monitor project progress, and provide project updates.
Project Management Experience:
Demonstrate, direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution
Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Microsoft Project
Develop and manage work breakdown structure (WBS) of small to medium projects. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
Solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies
Technically competent with various software programs, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Visio. Qualified candidates are required to have an Associate’s degree in Project Management, Business, Computer Science or a related field and have a minimum of three (3) years of experience managing projects.
Candidates must display a professional image that promotes all of Altra’s Brand Principles and provides quality member service and staff support. Must be detailed oriented, a creative thinker and demonstrate team-building skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written are essential and have a strong business sense. Active listening and time management skills are required to do the job.
This position is full time, 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday and is located at the Operations Center in Onalaska, WI.
