Graduate Degree (Masters) required.Additional qualificationsGraduate Degree (Masters or Doctorate) in nursing from a program that prepares CNSs preferred. Five years of successful work experience in nursing with two years in the specialty area preferred. Experience as a CNS preferred. Certification preferred. Maintains required certifications in area(s) of practice. Skills: Manifests the following characteristics: clinical expertise in the specialty, leadership skills, collaboration skills, consultation skills, professional attributes, ethical conduct, and professional citizenship beyond the specialty and in the profession of nursing.License or certificationCurrent RN license to practice in Wisconsin. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) competency.Exemption statusExemptCompensation DetailEducation, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
