Seeking a self-motivated and driven sales professional for a commission-based position with a fast-growing wine distribution company.
Sales Representatives are responsible for maximizing sales of family-owned wine brands represented by the company to on and off-premise customers in the LaCrosse area and continually building the territory through prospecting new accounts.
Successful candidates are self-motivated and possess excellent customer service, communication and time management skills while showing follow through on clear expectations. Time to time, this position will involve evening or weekend hours as needed to meet the schedules of training events, wine dinners, etc.
A positive team player attitude and attention to detail is a must.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Attending general sales meetings
Delivering product to accounts when required
Handling all customer issues in a timely and efficient manner
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
High-level proficiency of oral and written communication skills
Presentation skills necessary to effectively communicate, update, and/or facilitate discussions with all level of management
Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and coworkers
Planning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around multiple assignments
Proficient computer skills
2 years of adult beverage, product sales or hospitality experience
Ability to secure and maintain a valid drivers license
Ability to secure and maintain a State Sales Permit in accordance with state laws
21 years of age or older
Ability to lift, lower, push, or pull up to 40lbs
