About me: Hello, my name is Adam. I am 28 years old. I suffered a spinal cord injury a couple of years ago which paralyzed me from the chest down and partial paralysis in my arms. I do my best to not let this hold me back in life and continue to strive for an independent lifestyle. I enjoy spending time outdoors, at the movies, gardening, walking my dog, and exercising. I also, work part time (mostly from home) myself. I am looking for self motivated people who are passionate about helping others and can help me achieve daily tasks of living as well as help me work towards larger and long term goals.
Time and days of work: hours are flexible and depend on other caregiver's schedules, looking primarily for mornings and occasionally afternoons, weekdays and/or weekends. Will sit down and schedule together on monthly basis.
Location: I live with my family in Holmen, WI (10 miles north of La Crosse)
Duties: Care includes assisting with daily activities such as dressing, light cleaning, bathing, meal preparation, exercising activities, driving an accessible van to appointments, along with other miscellaneous tasks.
Experience is preferred, but training will be provided.
Wage is $11.50 per hour.
Must be OK with dogs.
