Our client is a locally owned and operated community focused company that has experienced continuous success in the appliance industry since 1938.
The Home Appliance Delivery and Installer is responsible for loading/unloading and simple installations of gas and electric household appliances such as: over the range microwaves, washers, dryers, range ovens, counter top stoves, refrigerators, and ventilation hoods into new and existing residential units. This position ensures the installed appliances are damage free, properly installed according to manufacturer's specifications and are fully functioning.
Shift hours:
Evening Part-Time shift plus Saturdays, working 15-30 hours per week. Starting wage for this position is $11.00/hr. with and extra $1.00 for delivery jobs.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Load and unload appliances for delivery
Sales floor restocking
Provides superior customer service and professionalism
Maintains a low percentage of appliance damage
Must have ability to assist in lifting large appliances
Qualifications: This position requires the ability to deal effectively and respectfully with customers and employees. They must have the ability to make decisions in a timely and professional manner while maintaining high customer satisfaction scores. Candidates must be able to pass pre-employment screening, DOT physical and must have a clean driving record. Candidates must be able to maintain our client's qualification criteria for drivers.
