As a Teller, you will:
Greet members in a prompt, friendly and professional manner, while actively listening and asking questions to understand our members’ needs.
Perform a variety of financial and member service transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, taking payments, and other services specific to the La Crosse office.
Share and recommend products and service promotions with our members, making appropriate referrals within the credit union
Represent and promote Altra at sponsored events and community involvement opportunities. Qualified candidates will be required to have a high school diploma, GED or HSED and a minimum one (1) month to one (1) year of Teller, retail and/or customer service experience.
This position is scheduled for 40 hours per week and will require flexibility within the posted office hours; opening and closing shifts from 6:45AM to 6:00PM in the drive up, as well as the lobby will be required. La Crosse Full Time Tellers are required to work one (1) to two (2) Saturdays per month from 7:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Lobby Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Drive Up Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Friday: 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to Noon Pay and Benefits:
Competitive starting rate of $16.00/hour, depending on experience
