Maple Creek Construction, LLC is a Commercial General Contractor located in Columbus, WI. We have an immediate opening for a project superintendent to join our team and help us continue our strong relationships with our clients. Project will be a Restaurant Project located in La Crosse. This position can be for the duration of the project or full time.
Job Responsibilities:
-Coordinate all project field operations, including subcontractors, materials, deliveries, and labor, within scheduled project time frames.
-Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to plans and specifications.
-Make field decisions as required and create formal RFI's when necessary.
-Monitor schedules and measure against project milestones.
-Create and maintain 2 week look ahead schedule.
-Create daily field reports with photo documentation.
-Review for accuracy and approve shop drawings
-Communicate effectively with the project manager, employees, and subcontractors
-Participate in weekly job meetings
-Manage project punch lists through all phases of construction and ensure 100% completion.
-Maintain a clean and professional looking job site.
-Identify unsafe working conditions, correct, and report.
Qualifications:
-Minimum 5 years as a job site superintendent in commercial construction (Hotel and Multifamily is a plus)
-High School diploma required
-Strong organizational and time management skills
-Sound verbal and written communication skills
-Familiarity with MS Office and construction management software
-OSHA training a plus
