ResponsibilitiesOur consultants on the Advanced Analytics & Intelligent Automation team help clients maximize the value of their data and automate business processes. This high performing team works with clients to implement the full spectrum of data analytics and data science, from data engineering, data querying and wrangling, to data visualization and dashboarding, to predictive analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence as well as robotic process automation (RPA). Our services enable our clients to define their information strategy, enable mission critical insights and data-driven decision making, reduce cost and complexity, increase trust, and improve operational effectiveness. Our consultants focus on client services, while also supporting business development, internal firm initiatives, and ongoing professional development. Job Description/Responsibilities: Belong to a collaborative team dedicated to advanced analytics, data engineering, and intelligent automation.

Directly support National Security clients as a DevSecOps / DevOps Engineer and Cloud Architect to develop cloud architecture for a web application.

Understand business needs and technical requirements and align architecture accordingly and efficiently.

Design, provision, configure and maintain cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available.

Develop, build, test, and maintain scalable data pipeline architectures, tools and data environments.

Utilize Spark, Databricks or other tools or platforms in addition to the cloud provider as needed to meet project needs.

Drive development and continuous integration and delivery in an Agile framework.

Support business development and internal team initiatives.

Continue career development in software, methods, and consulting.

QualificationsRequired: Active Secret clearance.

S. / B.A. in a relevant field and 5+ years of relevant experience OR a M.S. / M.A. in a relevant field and 3+ years of relevant experience.

Experience providing hands-on systems design and cloud architecture in AWS or Azure.

Experience architecting and building data pipelines and platforms.

Experience performing software development in an Agile framework.

Understanding of relevant best practices (e.g., 12 factor app, DevSecOps / DevOps principles, CI/CD workflows).

Experience scripting / data engineering / automaton using Python.

Understanding of relational databases, columnar data warehouses, NoSQL, and other storage types.

Familiarity with container technologies (e.g., Docker / Kubernetes).

Experience with micro services architecture and API gateways.

Strong consulting skills: identifying client needs, building relationships, being flexible, communicating effectively.

Ability to work independently and mentor others.

Preferred :

Knowledge / experience designing and building distributed systems for scalability and security.

Familiarity with web app development (Flask, Django, or FastAPI).

Experience supporting business development including RFP/RFQ/RFI responses.

Knowledge of the National Security domain.
