General InformationLocation: Madison, WIOrganization: PharmaSeekJob Type: Full Time Description and RequirementsThe Clinical Research Contracts and Compliance Analyst provides clinical trial agreement redline and negotiation services to a group of clients, including academic medical centers, health systems, and hospitals. This position will stay abreast of legal issues (e.g., judicial decisions, statutes, codes, etc.) impacting the clinical research industry. Primary responsibilities include developing, reviewing or revising contracts and other business documents to mitigate legal risk for clients, along with conducting legal research for assigned projects.RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reviews contracts or other business documents and assists internal and external clients as needed to ensure terms are compliant with the client’s company policies.

Manages contract and compliance billing projects for clients. Identifies potential legal or business issues and determines options for resolution of those issues, and discusses with the client. Elevates concerns to the Manager, Contracts and Compliance, as needed.

Drafts legal documents and correspondence, business templates, resource materials, policies and procedures.

Interacts with external entities, including clients, clinical research organizations and pharmaceutical research study sponsors to ensure compliant insurance billings, and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree preferred. Continued formal education in a legal or compliance field, typically obtained through a certificate or associate’s degree program with equivalent experience.

Effective verbal and written communication and negotiation skills

Strong critical thinking abilities such as analysis, judgment, problem-solving, and ethics.

Superior interpersonal skills; with the ability to work individually with clients and collaborate with coworkers in a team environment.

Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and timelines; work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and highly accurate work product.

Knowledge of legal research techniques and systems including web-based public resources required

Experience in the healthcare industry preferred; clinical research experience strongly preferred
