This position performs advanced technical architecture services for the KIDS system including database administration.
The KIDS technical architect/DBA Lead:
recommends and maintains data management policy
provides expert technical leadership to the applications development and technical staff
recommends and evaluates software solutions and tools
installs and maintains software on multiple mainframe platforms
plans, tests installs and updates software
advises application development staff on the use of database software, database designs and data models, supports application load testing
is available for evening/weekend on-call duties.
Well qualified candidates will have technical architecture and DBA experience with a large (1000+ programs, 400+table, 4+DB2/CICS environments or equivalent) Child Support system, or equivalent, using IBM utilities, Platinum, ERWin, Omegamon, ChangeMan, CNTL-M or like tools; and significant IT related knowledge.
ON CALL HOURS WILL BE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION.
