This cross-functional and global role works with product marketing, business unit and regional marketing teams.This role serves as a central hub of information and communication, and will lead the following campaign-specific efforts:Campaign planning – Collaborate with a variety of internal stakeholders such as business unit and product marketing teams to chart biannual campaign roadmaps; Ensure each campaign phase has the right mix of deliverables, and is filling gaps in content journey; Schedule and deliver on time iterative phases of campaign creative builds

Core deliverables: Campaign Plan, Roadmap, Creative Briefs, Kickoff Presentations

Campaign activation strategy – Creates purpose-built creative activation plays/”recipes” to help BU marketing teams accelerate time to market and simplify execution of core campaign assets.

Core deliverables: Campaign Bill of Materials, Campaign Activation Playbook

Content strategy – Plan and outline content marketing assets that accelerate the buyer’s journey; Implement proven, best practice-based content strategies AND source ideas for new and innovative content types; Apply campaign and subject matter knowledge to content briefs and creative kickoff presentations to drive focus and inspire break-through creative.

Research and insights – Gather insights from performance metrics, content analysis and creative testing to enable internal teams to make data-informed decisions.

The Main ResponsibilitiesCampaign planning:Lead biannual/quarterly campaign planning efforts and weekly cross-team campaign status meetings to develop and maintain the Campaign Plan and Roadmap

Develop the bill of materials for integrated global marketing campaigns that drive engagement across digital channels including social, paid media and content

Communicate and drive all workflows toward planned milestones and deadlines

Prepare and conduct creative kickoff presentations

Review draft creative work for accuracy, strategic approach, and message alignment

Develop and share knowledge about enterprise technology, target audiences, and the IT buyer’s journey

Manage overall campaign timeline by coordinating across project management, creative, product marketing and BU marketing stakeholders

Evangelize the campaign framework and creative development process

Engage stakeholders with clear, consistent, and effective communication

Content strategy:Regularly audit and review campaign content marketing assets to identify necessary content updates and new content needs to support the campaign

Distill long-form “pillar” content into outlines for claim-based creative and snackable content. Write content briefs and outlines

Contribute topic ideas to the editorial calendar for the corporate blog and manage development

Research and insights:Collaborate with various sources to track and analyze campaign content performance

Help creative leadership identify opportunities for creative and message testing

Manage customer research and testing projects with third-party vendors

Interpret testing results and present findings to creatives and stakeholders

Additional ResponsibilitiesCross-team/cross-functional contributions:Creative Services – Support writers and designers by ensuring all content is on strategy, on message, and optimized for digital experiences. Be an arbiter of marcom best practices.

Product Marketing – Support the development of a claims-based premier/pillar content by advising on the types of claims and content needed to support and extend campaign initiatives.

Business Unit Marketing – Support BU marketing demand and lead gen campaigns by ensuring content and digital needs are covered in the campaign BOM.

Customer Engagement Marketing – Support the development of campaign-aligned customer case studies by reviewing drafts and advising on product focus and messaging. Communicate gaps needing to be filled to support our hero product portfolio.

What We Look For In A CandidateRequired:Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Enterprise technology knowledge (or close equivalent)

Expertise in digital marketing, content strategy, and IT buyer’s journey

Experience leading cross-functional teams

High level thinker with a propensity for details and organization

Creative, enthusiastic, and collaborative

Preferred:Experience at a creative agency in an account or strategy role
