Located on the northwest side of Madison, Wisconsin
This is a full-time, permanent Object-Oriented Java and PHP IoT Cloud Software Engineer career opportunity at debt-free industrial controls manufacturer that has never had a layoff. Sales have consistently grown between three to five percent annually. Whether it is for one component or an entire system; all hardware design, software development and manufacturing is done at the Madison area location. The company also provides Cloud services to customers.

This is a new position resulting from company growth. The position could eventually grow into a management role. Employees are able to move to different areas of the company if that is of interest. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should be as follows:
Developing the full lifecycle in Java and PHP to create reusable software code
Making software scalability and speed a priority
Working with jQuery, JavaScript, SQL, CSS and HTML
Working independently as well as with other members of a development team
Writing and performing manual tests
Locating and fixing bugs
Being an active participant in a variety of meetings
The background of successful candidates must include the following:
A four year degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Three or more years of software development experience in a team-oriented environment
Two or more years of Java software development experience
Two or more years of PHP software development experience
Three or more years of jQuery, JavaScript, SQL, CSS and HTML experience
