Our client seeks a Senior DB2 Application Database Architect to perform advanced Database architecture work
Tasks:
Recommends and maintains data management policy
Provides expert technical leadership to the applications development and technical staff; installs and maintains software on multiple mainframe platforms
Plans, tests installs, and updates to software
Coordinates software upgrades with system DBAs and advises application development staff on the use of database software, database designs and data models, efficient data access, and is available for evening/weekend on-call duties.
Note: In coordination with the "Safer At Home" guidelines, contracted staff will work remotely as needed temporarily. However, contract staff will be required to return to the home office for regular business hours as restrictions allow Location: Madison, WI Contract: 3 years Interview: Phone, Skype, Onsite Skills Required:
