Responsible for web development and integration into businesses external and internal web sites and other web applications
Develop, test and debug programs and maintain moderately complex to advanced web based interactive programs.
Transform and implement design concepts into a production environment using .NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC , ASP.NET WebForms, REST APIs, EF, SQL Server, HTML, CSS/SASS, JavaScript, Angular2, jQuery, Responsive Design and mobile optimizations
Participate in functional and technical specifications development for approved projects.
Maintain branded websites on daily basis and ensure quality and high performance to the internal and vendor applications of the organization.
Develop and maintain technical documents, user testing scripts, approvals, and other relevant documentation throughout development of web applications/sites
Assist the team in deployments, evaluation of web development processes, support change management
Defines site objectives by analyzing user requirements, envisioning system features and functionality.
Designs and develops user interfaces to web applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.
Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives.
Work with IT to understand impacts of patches / upgrades to existing systems / technology.
Participate in code reviews and troubleshooting as necessary with internal and external resources.
Provide leadership on moderately complex to advanced projects independently or as part of a larger project team.
Create and/or modify program documentation.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and recommend solutions for assigned Trouble Tickets.
Participate in "on-call" application support.
Education and Experience Profile
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience in systems development / analysis
Minimum 7 years of professional experience in designing and developing applications using Microsoft technologies
Required Skills
Design and develop large scale, customer facing ecommerce/web applications with Sitecore and Sitefinity CMS
Developing client-side code using React, VUE, Angular, NodeJS
Developing applications for and Microsoft Azure
Deploying applications to Microsoft Azure (Docker)
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) strategies and tools
Experience in other web related technologies such as HTML5/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, REST, SaSS, SOAP, SQL, XML, XSLT
Experience using MVC and MVVM Frameworks, Entity Framework and responsive frameworks like Foundation and Bootstrap.
HTML5 Web development skills
Proficient in CSS3; usage advanced CSS3 is a plus
Strong Database management and administrative knowledge in MS SQL server and/or MongoDB
Experience with SSRS and SSIS development such as tasks building and tuning
Strong Security driven development and understanding of security principles
Strong understanding of technical SEO.
Strong understanding of technical Web Accessibility and ADA web compliance.
Proven experience integrating mobile web applications with server-side APIs
Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Methodologies
Experience with SCRUM/Agile, Lean, and Waterfall development methodologies
Experience with Responsive Design/Development and integrating with both public and private APIs.
Experience developing solutions to business problems while remaining abreast on new and emerging technology is required.
Must be able to effectively balance time resources to perform simultaneous work on multiple projects and/or tasks.
Knowledge and experience with content management systems, product catalogs and workflow solutions is preferred.
Must be able to adapt well to changing priorities.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Provide accurate development time estimates and task duration for assigned projects and escalates risks as required.
Participate in Vendor and Software platform evaluations
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications skills and effectively collaborates with other team members and project stakeholders
Experience with Ecommerce tools, analytics and integrations such as Salesforce, Salsify, Bazaarvoice, Channelsight, Pricespider and GTM
Experience building and maintaining B2B applications
Experience building multilingual websites
Monitor and improve the quality of web components
Develop test scripts and execute functional tests across a variety of environments
