We are hiring for a Front of House manager position at Brasserie V, an established, casual, but upscale restaurant on Monroe Street. We are independently owned by the same owners for over 11 years. We are looking for an experienced leader who is skilled in managing staff and is able to lead a team, think on your feet and maintain the highest standards. We are looking for someone who is passionate about locally sourced foods, independent business, and creating and maintaining a positive, friendly atmosphere.
This position if full-time, 5 days, 40 hours a week, with about 20 hours of administration/management work and about 20 hours of hosting and bartending while managing staff. 3 or more years restaurant experience preferred.
Main responsibilities for this position:
â Schedule including managing request offs
â Assist with weekly Newsletter
â Social Media - Facebook & Instagram posts & promos
â FOH personnel management - Employee morale, concerns, complaints, ideas, meetings, enforcing policies
â Liaison between BOH and FOH
â Communication and follow up on any changes, emails, charge disputes, deposits, etc
â FOH hiring - Posting jobs, Interviews and follow up
â Training new employees or delegate training
â Contact for customers for inquiries, large groups, events, complaints
â Help write up new menus with chef, put on website, update POS
â Make cleaning/task lists for FOH (weekly-biweekly) and follow up
â Maintenance/repairs - Contact appropriate person/place for repairs needed
â Address any POS issues
â Donation requests
â Help manage promotions, assist in marketing
