Graze restaurant is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as an FOH Floor Manager! Graze is a New American, comfort food restaurant on the Capitol Square, open for lunch Mon-Fri, dinner Mon-Sat, and weekend brunch service.
Candidates considered for the position would display aptitude in the following:
- minimum of 1 year management experience
- 5 years restaurant experience, preferably high volume
- Working knowledge of wine and spirits
- Proficiency in Excel, and Word; InDesign knowledge or willingness to learn preferable
- COGS operations knowledge
- scheduling background
- Poise under pressure
- Experience in hiring and conflict resolution
- Passion for Madison's local food movement
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Well-written and spoken
- Strong eye for detail
- Maintaining existing service standards
- Evaluating staff and driving educational development
- Experience in event coordinating and working with OpenTable a plus
- Analytically-minded individuals ideal for this position
