Hiring & Staff Services is looking to hire an Office Associate who has general office experience, strong data entry skills, and customer service experience. This is a temporary position working for our government client located in Downtown Madison. This role is a good opportunity for individuals who have great attention for detail, and enjoy working independently.
Pay & Hours:
$14-14.50/hour
Full-time, 8AM – 4:30PM, Monday-Friday
On Bus Route: Yes
Work Location: Downtown Madison, 53703, government office building
Responsibilities:
Data entry, meeting deadlines and quotas
Processing marriage, birth, and death certificates; transferring data from written records to database entries
Scanning, filing, routing, processing, proofing, forms and documents
Other clerical tasks as assigned, including mail-related tasks; light customer service
Qualifications:
Strong typing proficiency required
At least 1 year of data entry or clerical office experience required
Strong proficiency in Microsoft products, specifically Excel
Associate’s Degree, or equivalent work experience preferred
Qualified candidates may have prior experience working as a data entry clerk, receptionist, secretary, office clerk or office assistant. Prior office experience is required.
