Capitol Lakes, a vibrant Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in the heart of downtown Madison and a part of Pacific Retirement Services, has immediate openings for part-time PM Home Health Aides to support our services provided by our on-site Home Health division. Our Home Health Aides are some of our most valuable staff at Capitol Lakes because of the tremendous role they have to provide continued care and support of our valued residents. The primary role of the Home Health Aide is to provide companionship, personal care support, and other in-home services for Capitol Lakes Home Health Clients. In specific, the Aide is to support residents physically, socially and emotionally by assisting residents with activities of daily living, fostering independence and freedom of choice and maintaining a clean and hazard-free environment for each resident. There is no travel associated with this position; all services are provided directly at our community. Work Schedule: Due to the unique needs of our Home Health services, days may vary from week to week. Generally needs are in blocks of time during the PM/afternoon hours, ranging from 2:00-10:30 p.m. Flexibility to work occasional holiday shifts is a strong plus. These duties include, but are not limited to the following:Providing assistance with personal care duties per the Client?s service plan which may include providing assistance with the Activities of Daily Living (ADL?s): DressingGroomingBathingTransferring and MobilityContinence Care Nutrition and HydrationProvide appropriate documentation of all ADL?s provided and those offered and declined/refused.Provide meaningful, positive interactions when working with the Clients, guests and their families.Additional job duties as a Home Health Caregiver as defined by the job description.CPR/First Aide certification preferred but not requiredIf required to travel would need a current valid WI driver?s license and be insurable by corporate insurance carrier(s). If CNA certified, must complete ongoing training/educational requirements necessary to maintain Wisconsin certification.
