Discover Mediaworks is a strategic communications and media company rooted in the heart of the Midwest. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team and take on the role of Marketing Services Coordinator. This individual should have knowledge of marketing best practices, primarily as they relate to media buying, client communication, social media management, public relations, and content development. They must be enthusiastic, self-motivated and willing to take on a variety of tasks for both our house brands and those of their clients.
Communicate and engage media buying plans
Write content on a variety of topics for client and in-house websites; coordinating content from contributors
Copywriting for PR, email promotions, social media, and blog posts
Collect post-campaign data to create performance reports for client and internal review
Coordinate social media content calendars for internal and client brands using both in-house and user-generated content
This position will also take on a variety of marketing and administrative tasks to ensure the Client Success team delivers quality results to all Discover Mediaworks clients.
Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or English
Possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Experience with media buying is a plus
Proficient working in Microsoft Office and Google applications
Experience working in common social media platforms for businesses (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and YouTube)
Demonstrate strong organization skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of video, radio, TV and digital advertising are a plus
