MSCR, Madison's rec department, is hiring for summer jobs in camps, youth programs, sports, swimming, services for people with disabilities and more. Join our team to have fun, be active, connect with kids in the community, and gain awesome experience. Staff are responsible for ensuring participants have a safe, positive experience in their programs. Duties include planning and leading activities, supervising youth participants in indoor and outdoor activities, creating an inclusive environment for students of all abilities.
Positions are great for young people looking for summer work to gain skills and experience, but also more experienced applicants looking to lead programs and share their skills and passions with the community. We are seeking everything from entry-level through experienced staff.
Most positions are either 25 or 40 hours/week, with a few jobs with fewer hours.
Work locations on all sides of town, placements are made based on your preferences.
Positions begin the week of June 13 and run 7-10 weeks depending on placement.
