This position will provide administrative support in a fast-paced, high-functioning professional office performing a variety of complex administrative tasks. Administrative Assistants will receive extensive training in order to to perform department-specific duties supporting current office personnel and management
Other duties include but are not limited to:
Critical analysis of statutory language, administrative codes, policies, and procedures
Retaining considerable knowledge of the program area(s) which enables the employee to be considered subject matter experts for a variety of complex administrative functions
Performing lead-worker duties, including training, assigning and reviewing the work of other employees
Function independently in order to relieve program managers from administrative processes
Development/modification, monitoring, evaluation and implementation of office management and administrative support procedures and policies
Manage complex databases to maintain program information
Prepare statistical data analysis or reports
Monitoring and controlling the daily flow of the office in the absence of office management or other personnel
Qualified Candidates Must Have:
At least 2 years of demonstrated experience in an administrative role
Average typing speed of over 45 wpm
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and Word
Excellent written and communication skills
Critical-thinking and analysis skills
Excellent time-management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
Quick problem-solving emphasizing adaptability to a variety of professional work situations
Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree with demonstrated equivalent work experience
This position qualifies as temporary-contract employment. No benefits will be provided.
