Oakwood Village has an exciting opportunity for qualified candidates to join our University Woods (West Side of Madison) senior living community facility team as a Bus Driver. Our Bus Drivers are responsible for transporting residents on the Oakwood bus, on designated days, to shopping centers, church services, and other special events as requested. Often times the Bus Driver can join the Oakwood residents in the activity they are doing at no cost. Activities include but are not limited to seeing a play, going on a tour, dining out, and much more.
-This Bus Driver position is an On-Call. The bus drivers are able to pick the shifts they would like to work.
-This positions hours are based on need and shifts picked up.
-Great pay starting at $12.00 plus an additional $0.75 for hours worked on 2nd Shift and weekends (We pay more for experience).
Job Responsibilities of a Bus Driver (Not intended to be an all-inclusive list)
-Transports residents to shopping centers, churches, and other activities as scheduled.
-Assists residents on and off the bus when necessary.
-Stores groceries in rear compartment, and retrieves groceries when residents vacate the bus.
-Responsible for maintaining a clean bus, both the interior and exterior.
-Responsible for fueling the bus as needed and reporting any other needs to the Transportation Supervisor.
