Job Description:
This position is responsible for helping the executive leadership team develop departmental strategy and then help to define strategic initiatives from that strategy. This person should have exceptional communication skills and a high degree of emotional intelligence (EQ) in order effectively work with a broad spectrum of business leaders. This is a business focused project manager position and not a technical position.
Must be able to facilitate business group discussions in a professional manner in a decision making environment. Responsible for assembling and managing working teams that are business focused. Responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers. Assists and partners with senior management of the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities that achieve the goals of the enterprise.
This is a senior role that has responsibility for large initiatives with great impact to the enterprise. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field, or equivalent work experience. Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is preferred. Typically has more than 10 years of program and project management work experience with various business projects. Experience with projects in multiple business functions that required organizational change is preferred.
Ideal candidates for this position will be required to have experience in one or (preferably) more of the following areas:

Ability to work independently with direction given by the Project Manager.
Information Technology - Project Management
Capable of managing a project or subset of a project with up to ten (10) staff.
Experience in the use of Project Management tools. Experience using MS Project, or other standard
