  • JOB REQUIREMENTS: The purpose of this position is to provide support to the social services and activity department for the long term care units, Crossroads and Pathways. This position is supervised by the Long Term Care Social Services Coordinator. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The following duties are normal for this classification. Perform all job tasks in a safe and responsible manner. 11. Assists activity coordinator with unit activity programming and outings. Additional Tasks and Responsibilities 1. Communicates and interacts professionally, effectively and tactfully with residents, patients, physicians, visitors, families and peers. 2. Participates in in-service and other training as assigned. Completes annual job specific trainings and core competencies as required by Norwood Health Center and Wood County. 3. Reserves meeting rooms as requested. 4. Other duties as assigned. OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Associate\'s degree in a human services related field desired. Two years of related experience required. Must be able to maintain a pleasant disposition at all times. Knowledge of computer skills and data needed. Ability to work independently. Able to demonstrate flexibility with assignments. Ability to concentrate. Accuracy is essential in all aspects of job responsibilities. Able to exercise judgement, especially where clientele are involved.
