These positions share time between Marshfield and Stevens Point locations.

Marshfield Medical Center, the Marshfield Clinic Health System flagship hospital, cares for patients from throughout central, northern and western Wisconsin. Marshfield Medical Center offers primary, secondary, tertiary and Level II Trauma Center hospital services provided by Marshfield Clinic specialists.

The Ultrasonographer performs diagnostic OB/GYN, abdominal and other ultrasound exams. Completes exam analysis and preparation for Radiologist’s review and interpretation.

Requires:

• High school graduate or equivalent with equivalent self-taught educational experience or graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
• Successful completion of Ultrasound internship experience
• American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) registered , or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Sonography (S) registered
• Completed Physics, Obstetrics and Gynecology and Abdomen/Small parts within 2 years of initial employment. If working in a department performing breast ultrasound, you must complete American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) Breast certification, or ARRT Breast Sonography (BS) credential within 2 years of hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association and Red Cross within 3 months of employment; at time of hire preferred
  
  

Preferred/Optional:

• Associates Degree
• Two years of experience as a Diagnostic Medical Ultrasonographer
