Milestones, a non-profit child care center and education program, is hiring Part Time Assistant Teachers in infant/toddler and early childhood programs. We are looking for caring, enthusiastic, and professional adults who are committed to high quality programming for young children. Milestones has been in operation on Milwaukee's North Shore since 1979. We serve children from 2 months through 6th grade at a number of locations. Our clients are working parents who are in need of child care that is of high quality, developmentally based, and in tune with the philosophy that play and learning go hand in hand.
As a Part Time Assistant, we can provide you with a valuable opportunity to gain experience working with children and families while you are attending classes or working a second job. Part time Assistant Teacher positions require two classes on child development, but we will provide the classes for you if you do not already have them. Prior experience is also helpful but not required.
Your interview process with Milestones will include a classroom visit so that you can meet your potential co-workers and observe our classroom environments.
