Description:
Client is looking for a technical hands-on leader with a deep background in computer science, service-oriented architecture, and delivering consumer-facing offerings, software and features. You will be a prominent leader of the platform engineering group chartered with innovation and realization of the future of smart buildings. You will be the steward of the architecture and capabilities of the systems under development. You will establish a strong rapport across the organization to build support and followers spanning product management, platform engineering, product engineering, DevOps, and solution delivery teams. You will be a leader in development across our digital twin solutions, graph database, timeseries, and event platform.
Looking for:
• BS in Computer Science/Electrical or Computer Engineer or has a degree and demonstrated technical abilities in similar areas.
• Has strong written skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical analyses and results to business management
• Strong Programming skills in C# and at least one additional language such as Java, Node.js, Python, Perl, R, Ruby.
• Deep experience with high volume distributed event data processing
• Deep experience with SQL and multiple Relational Database Management Systems with non-trivial databases.
• Telemetry & Monitoring of High scale PaaS solutions
• CI/CD expert for large scale PaaS platforms embracing the Software Defined Everything and deploy from git mindset
• Hands-on experience with public clouds such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or the Google Cloud Platform.
• RESTful API Design and familiarity with GraphQL
