requirements. Provides financial underwriting expertise on case
consultations.Supplies financial expertise for underwriter training,
projects, and committees across the enterprise. Primary Duties &
Responsibilities: Responsible for setting and updating the company\'s
financial standards and requirements for life insurance underwriting.
This requires researching, developing, writing, reviewing, and
implementing new and revised standards and requirements. Provides the
highest level of technical expertise to analyze and resolve complex
financial case consultations. As needed, communicates directly with NM
financial representatives, clients, outside CPAs, and attorneys on
complex cases. Provides financial expertise to all levels of leadership
across the enterprise. Provides leadership and technical expertise to
committees and projects across the enterprise. Provides technical
expertise for underwriter training and development. Delivers training on
complex financial topics. Resolves complex case escalations by providing
technical and standard-setter expertise. Maintains the highest level of
current accounting, business valuation and estate planning knowledge
through continuing education and the review of professional
publications. Qualifications: A bachelor\'s degree in accounting CPA
designation preferred Minimum of 7 years of experience Superior
analytical and decision-making skills that balance flexibility, critical
thinking and judgement. High degree of personal initiative and the
ability to work independently and deliver timely results in a fast-paced
