Position Summary:

As a key member of the management team, the Lead Business Manager must ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures while using analytical skills to be a resource to the Business Managers, Distribution Center Management and Area Sales Functional Teams. The Lead Business Manager will provide leadership, analysis and financial support services for the Business Managers, Operational and Sales teams. They will also ensure accurate and timely internal administration and adherence to proper accounting and reporting procedures.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Supervise administrative staff for the Distribution Center.
  • Supervise multiple Business Managers within a geographical area.
  • Train and develop your team.
  • Monitor, communicates and supports adherence to internal control and consistent execution of standard business processes within the market unit including multiple distribution centers.
  • Champion process improvement initiatives within the locations you support to include;
    • Payroll Processes
    • Accounts Payable
    • Accounts Receivable – Sales Center Charge Back, AR write offs, NSF checks and mail check process
    • Route Settlement / Cash
    • Driver Over / Short
  • Provides financial leadership, insights and analytical support to the local Distributions Center.
  • Monitor and collaborate with management in the analysis of monthly financial reports and control operating expenses with potential savings opportunities for the local Distribution Center.
  • Support all aspects of the Financial P & L for the local Distribution Center.
  • Travel required – 15%-20%.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Bilingual skills.
  • SAP experience.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of office experience with similar responsibilities in a related field (Finance or Management).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Proven people leadership skills.
  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
