A Global Manufacturing client of ours based in the Milwaukee region is seeking a full time Lead SAP FICO Functional Business Analyst. Responcibilities:
This position is a Lead Analyst with skills in SAP FI/CO and is responsible for all aspects of our SAP FI/CO application, understanding the capabilities and limitations of the native SAP functional solution, as well as providing module configuration and analysis support. As part of the SAP Center of Excellence, this position will play a key role in future SAP implementations across the Motion Control Solutions platform, as well as delivering process improvements to the business. This position will work closely with business subject matter experts as well as others within IT to ensure strong alignment between the business requirements/needs and the application solutions/services. The candidate role is responsible for developing and delivering effective FI/CO solutions for our business which leverages SAP and industry-standard best practices. Manufacturing experience and knowledge of the SAP IM&C Best Business Practice is a plus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand the Client's Template and provide solutions which ensure strong alignment between the business requirements/needs and the application solutions/services.
  • Provide SAP configuration and solution expertise within all Finance related modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables and Fixed Assets.
  • Provide SAP configuration and solution expertise within all Controlling related modules including Product Costing, Profit Center Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders and Profitability Analysis.
  • Provide SAP configuration expertise for all product cost planning including valuation variants, costing variants and costing sheets.
  • Deep functional knowledge of standard costing and re-valuation processes; ability to guide users through the process and ensure high quality results.
  • In-depth knowledge of master data, processes, and integration points with other SAP modules, as well as SAP and industry standard best practices.
  • Support value realization initiatives through consistent system utilization, standardized business processes, and standardized controls across business units and geographical areas.
  • Understand SAP configuration for local GAAP financial requirements including taxation, inventory valuation, payment processes, fixed assets and other country specific requirements as applicable.
  • Ability to foster teamwork in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Strong functional, communication and organization skills, with ability to effectively meet deadlines and milestones as well as provide timely updates.
  • Ability to assist with business process and master data redesign ensuring alignment with SAP best practices.
  • Develop strong SAP user community through end user training, support and knowledge sharing to keep solution aligned with the business
  • Ability to work closely and effectively with end-users
  • Assist team members and customers with problem solving related to software application performance and usage.


QUALIFICATION:
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in SAP FI/CO hands-on configuration and implementation/support, with exposure to local, country-specific financial reporting requirements
  • A functional/technical professional with at least 3 full lifecycle SAP ECC 6.0 implementations and 10+ years of industry and/or consulting experience
  • Current SAP ECC 6.0 FI/CO knowledge and experience
  • Proven ability to provide configuration and analysis support for the FI/CO modules with complete understanding of the capabilities and limitations of the native SAP functional solution.
  • Strong understanding of the integration points with other SAP modules (SD/MM/PP)
  • Adept at implementing technology enabled business solutions for clients as part of a high talent team.
  • Experience developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate with clients, identify engagement follow on opportunities, and have a strong desire to excel. Strong configuration and design skills.
