Provide senior level network services, including installations instructions and templates, bill of materials, and configuration guides that integrate into Johnson Controls network technologies.
Ensure that the network elements are operating as expected in LATAM region; through continues network administration, network monitoring as investigated and resolving anomalies.
Lead the work with other areas to ensure that any changes to the network are robustly tested, and implemented per JCI design standards
Collaborate with business owners to implement reliable, manageable, and secure solutions that meet Johnson Controls standards and add value to our business needs for LATAM region.
Lead the implementation of JCI network standards on special projects such as acquisitions and mergers in LATAM
Identify performance issues, interpret trends (e.g., traces of network traffic), and implements improvements and savings
Responsible of the administration of the Management and Change Management databases for LATAM
Provide training and mentor staff - conduct formal training sessions, one-on-one sessions, focus on process and tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex Network issues for LATAM; Adds, updates, and closes records in the IT Problem Management and Change Management databases
Provide recommendations on specific network configurations and design for hardware selection to the IT team for procurement
Participant on merger and acquisition confidential projects and performs other related duties as assigned.
Negotiate contracts with the main ISP vendors for LATAM
Coordinate with the shared services centers in Bratislava and Monterrey on the invoice payment for LATAM vendors
Ensure documentation is kept up dated to reflect the current network configuration
Maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimization
Provide remote support to on-site engineers and end users/customers during installation
Provide remote troubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur upon initial installation
Lead projects from start to finish from the technical side
Respond to fault reports in a timely manner aiming to resolve any customers impacting faults in as short a timeframe as sensibly possible.
