Responsibilities

This opportunity is with our Deployment Solutions team, which partners with top tier pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology companies to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies that deliver.

In this Sales Specialist role, you must meet and / or exceed sales goals in an assigned territory by developing, implementing, and executing an integrated territory business plan encompassing key customer targets.

You will have the opportunity to :

Provide subject matter expertise concerning scientific and clinical information of the disease state and client products.

Deliver clinical brand specific presentations of products in a customer centric dialogue to physicians and other appropriate health care professionals.

Engage the total office to support an exceptional customer experience.

Effectively utilize and manage all client approved resources to optimize return on investment.

Plan and execute medical education programs and in collaboration with internal and external partners build customer loyalty and position the client as the leading company in diabetes care.

Job Requirements

Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has :

A Bachelor’s Degree

2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience

Diabetes selling experience required

Experience calling on Endocrinologists preferred

Experience selling Insulin Products preferred

Experience selling Injectable Products to Endocrinologists preferred

Proven track record in field sales in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry

The RMT is the subject matter expert for the facility Records Management Program. Assists the RMO in implementing records management policies within business lines or divisions. Informs management of unusual, sensitive, or potentially controversial issues. Ensures departing employees do not remove Federal records from facility custody. Ensures the appropriate records management language and clauses, as required by NARA, are included in all contracts that include the creation, upkeep, use, storage, or disposal of VA data. Ensures vital/essential records are identified, inventoried, and protected to continue key functions and activities in an emergency. Reports noncompliance with document retention requirements to management so they may initiate corrective and/or disciplinary action as necessary. Informs business partners of the records management program and their respective roles in carrying it out in accordance with the most recent laws and regulations. Utilizes professional judgment to research, select, interpret, and apply the appropriate guideline or, if necessary, consults VA and VBA RMOs and/or Regional Counsel Offices. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Specialized Experience: To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religions; spiritual; community; student; social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
