<span id="mcemarker" data-mce-type="bookmark"> </span><span id="caret"></span>We are looking for a highly motivated Program Manager/Project Manager who can take programs from product design to factory operation. Our client has a purposeful emphasis on New Product Development and Operational Excellence in which their Program Managers have the backing of executive leadership to drive the future. Here are just a few types of programs you as a Program Manager can be involved in driving and standing behind:
Contribute to helping revolutionize new offerings in across several product categories across both commercial & residential business segments
Transform power systems and products through electrification (Lithium battery solutions, motors and controllers)
Push the envelope on Internal-Combustion (IC) Engines (breakthrough innovations in Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) and emissions reduction technologies)
Implementing world-class operational excellence programs at several of U.S. based manufacturing facilities


MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:


  • Form and lead product development teams to complete multiple and/or complex new product offering, product change, and cost reduction programs

  • Adhere to the new product development process

  • Develop and manage capital and expense budgets

  • Develop and monitor project schedules

  • Communicate with internal and external customers regarding program status

  • Evaluate current processes and systems for cost reduction and improvement

  • Prepare and present information and presentations for management project review meetings




REQUIREMENTS AND DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Exceptional leadership abilities

  • 3+ years of experience in engineering and/or manufacturing

  • 3+ years of program management experience with accomplishments in concept to market product development

  • Working understanding financial principle including Economic Value Add and Return on Investment concepts

  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary to communicate and negotiate effectively with diverse groups of people

  • Ability to form, work with and lead a team of diverse individuals in a variety of fields

  • Proven track record at employing Problem Solving Methodologies

  • High level of Organizational and Planning Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills

  • Excellent project management skills

  • Experience in combined Mechanical, Electrical and Software Development Projects

  • Experience working with large assemblies/vehicles preferred though not required
