Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Be proficient in DevOps and Agile principles
  • Identify technical problems and apply engineering standard methodologies to analyze and develop software solutions
  • Leverage established coding standards, best practices, and automation capabilities to develop solutions to support our users
  • Have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in our projects
  • Strive for continuous improvement in our products and in how we work
  • Demonstrate technical leadership by mentoring junior engineers
  • Challenge the status quo


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of professional IT experience
  • 3+ years experience with AWS Cloud Services, containerized applications, and container orchestration (AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes Certifications preferred)
  • 5+ years experience with monitoring and performance management/tuning of systems
  • 5+ years experience with modern programming and scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Experience with Unit Testing
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Experience working with DevOps, CICD, GitOps, and Agile methodologies
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation using services such as Gitlab CI, Jenkins, CodePipeline, or Circle CI
  • Understanding of certificates, firewalls, vulnerability management, authentication, and authorization
  • Experience with Linux and Windows including how to install, configure, and manage workloads on both. Very comfortable using CLI.

Compensation Range:

Pay Range - Start:

$97,930.00

Pay Range - End:

$139,900.00

Please note that this is the standard pay structure. Positions in certain locations (such as California) may provide an increase on the standard pay structure based on the location. Please click here for additional information relating to location-based pay structures.
