We are looking for a Software Support Specialist with C, Linux, and SQL to handle client interactions, issue investigation and resolution, and support-related development in a large-scale, state-of-the-art, multi-asset order management system. We will consider entry level candidates.

Responsibilities:

- Answer email and (less frequently) phone calls from clients for general application support and troubleshooting.
- Investigate issues (using system logs, source code inspection, database querying, etc.).
- Develop client-specific features and improvements in C/Linux, Java.
- Develop software monitoring and testing software solutions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science.
- Software development experience in C.
- Fluency in concurrent programming.
- Fluency with the Linux/Unix command-line environment.
- Good SQL knowledge and skills.
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Specialized Experience: To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religions; spiritual; community; student; social).
