Fun yet professional bartender
Chard runs as a casual cafe during lunch hours and runs as a bar and grill restaurant during dinner hours. We strive to vitalize the heart of Milwaukee by offering modern Korean cuisine with grilled meats and greens. We believe food is information and vibration that could transform peoples lives.
We welcome people who are fun yet professional, upbeat, social, and who are interested in Korean Culture as well as cuisine. We are located in Historic Third Ward. Our standards are high and we are looking for people who aspire to meet them. You must be a positive person, have attention to details, pleasant towards customers as well as your peers, quick learner, multi-tasker and diligent. You must have an open availability to work both weekday nights and weekend nights.
Qualifications:
Previous experience required.
Has a strong sense of genuine and heartfelt hospitality
Available to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, and weekends
Ability to work six hour shifts, with extensive standing/walking.
Ability to meet Chard uniform and grooming standards and maintain during shifts
Ability to consistently lift or carry up to 25lbs
Excellent verbal communication skills
Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
Responsibilities:
Ensures everyone has the complete Chard experience
Check customers identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant
Interact with customers, take orders, operate POS system and serve drinks
Be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about our menu offerings
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
Maintain cash and cash equivalents in a responsible manner
