Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated event coordinator to organize unforgettable events. The Event Coordinator is responsible for event planning, setup, logistics and overall execution.
Responsibilities:
Promptly respond to customer inquiries with information about reserving the event space and menus
Schedule and conduct site tours for potential clients
Working knowledge of food and beverage menus
Meet with client to organize logistics of event and finalize details
Oversee event, which may include setup and breakdown
Ensure all policies are followed during events
Checks physical setup and assists event setup staff with any requested adjustments
Greets the designated “contact” for each event and maintain contact throughout event
Serve as liaison among clients and vendors to ensure satisfaction
Prepare event related paperwork including contracts, floor plans, event orders, thank you cards, etc.
Work closely with Executive Chef on preparing customized menus
Schedule and coordinate internal events throughout the year
Schedule and coordinate brewery tours
Other duties as assigned
Requirement:
High school diploma or GED
Experience working in hospitality or event planning preferred
Excellent communication skills (telephone, email, in person) with ability to write and speak effectively in response to common inquiries or complaints
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong listening and critical thinking skills
Strong multitasking ability and attention to detail
Self-starter and ability to work independently when needed
Proficiency in Social Media and Google Suite Tools (Drive, Docs, Spreadsheets)
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Physical - events may require stairs, moving equipment and furniture
Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
Compensation:
Job Type: Part-Time with future Full-Time growth potential
Competitive Pay: Based on Experience
