We have an opportunity at our New Berlin, WI location for a Full-Time Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift.

Here's what you'll be doing:
-Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and machinery
-Repairing electrical equipment
-Disassembling devices to remove defective parts
-Inspecting potential defective parts to detect wear and failure
-Inspecting suspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements
-Adjusting functional equipment and machine parts and controls
-Generating purchase order for parts and machines
-Repairing or replacing defective parts
-Installing appropriate machine guarding devices and unique functional and structural parts in devices
-Testing device performance to assure safe operation of repaired equipment and machinery
-Performing all preventative maintenance
-Completing work order to document all work performed
-Setting up and operating equipment as needed to perform maintenance and diagnostics
Education and Experience:
Associates’ Degree (or current enrollment in a technical school) in Facilities Maintenance (or similar) and 1-3 years’ related experience in maintenance or mechanical repair is required; or equivalent in related experience. Incumbent must be detail-oriented, dependable, and have a positive attitude.
Schedule:
Hours are 1:30pm - 9:30pm, Monday through Friday. Occasional weekends, as needed.
Pay: Hourly (based on experience) + $0.50 shift differential for 2nd shift + $500 sign-on bonus + great benefits!
