JOB SUMMARY //
GMR Marketing is looking for professional, self-motivated, and organized Brand Ambassadors for our upcoming program representing a well-known financial services brand in San Diego, CA. This is a full-time, hourly position, 40 hours/week. Brand Ambassadors will be communicating with local businesses to promote the brands new POS display and payment options in their stores.
DATE, TIME, & LOCATION //
This program will run from 8/8/2019 through 9/6/2019. Brand Ambassadors will be working Monday Friday, full-time (40 hours/week) for the duration of the program. The program will take place in the San Diego, CA area, so candidates must be able to work and travel to areas within the city and surrounding areas.
WHAT YOULL DO //
Visit assigned business locations and communicate with that locations decision-maker about their pay capabilities
Request to put up branding within the store to inform consumers of the contactless pay capabilities
Achieve all scheduled location visits each day
Accurately install point-of-sale (POS) branding at each location
Develop a thorough understanding of brand elements and speaking points through provided training
Manage electronic reporting of each individual store visit to Market Manager using a provided template and ensure consistency across all program tracking following the designated format
Collect necessary data and input into clients electronic tracking tool
WHAT WE NEED //
Ability to carry a professional conversation and speak knowledgeable about our client with business owners
Detail-oriented
Capable of taking direction from assigned Market Manager but operating independently to achieve daily installation goals
Prior use or general understanding of Android devices is a plus
Proficient with Microsoft suite, specifically Excel. Knowledge and use of Google Sheets is a plus
Prior use and/or general understanding of Google Maps is preferred
Strong communication skills
Strong time management skills
Displays professionalism in all aspects of job
Be at least 18 years of age or older
Driving is a requirement of the position, so candidate must own their own vehicle
Wear required uniform
Attend all mandatory trainings
