Summary

Data Holdings Data Center(Data Holdings) is seeking a full-time Marketing Manager to expand ourcommunications platform including digital advertising, trade publications andsocial media efforts. Data Holdings is aTier III+ Commercial Data Center that currently serves a broad range of clientswho wish to store their data in highly secure locations and offers numeroustechnological and economic advantages versus competitors in the data centermarket in the Midwest Region.

Responsibilities

Createa market segmentation strategy

  • Lookfor sources of lead generation databases that align with our strategy, byvertical, company size, geographic, etc.
  • Builda market sizing model with ability to evaluate our target and addressablemarket sizes
  • Completea full and on-going competitive analysis for Data Holdings
  • Identifyrich targets and develop our outreach strategy for lead generation efforts andmarketing campaigns
  • Trackand analyze the effectiveness of our segmentation strategy; adjust wherenecessaryBuildand manage an effective and powerful lead generation program

  • Evaluateour current use of disoverorg.com
  • Createthe path for all leads gathered from multiple sources to be loaded intoSalesforce
  • Workwith Data Holdings management on assignment of leads from both outbound andinbound market efforts

Manageand execute all marketing, sales and PR Initiatives

  • Managethe marketing calendars
  • Manageand execute all marketing, sales enablement, training efforts, PR initiatives,paid media and other areas as needed
  • Actas an internal SME for our email marketing platform; analyze and consistentlyenhance the effectiveness of our email marketing
  • Createcontent for and assist in managing all marketing PR programs
  • Createor edit content for paid media programs

Createand manage all messaging content tried to the marketing calendar

  • Usingbest practices and our key messaging framework, create tailored content at theindustry, persona and feature/benefit level
  • ConsideringSEO in any online/demand content, ensure important keywords and phrases areincluded in the content created for key channels
  • Informand contribute to changes in messaging and regularly check in on metrics andSEO trends to ensure Data Holdings is running a best in class content marketingprogram

Bethe expert on SEO and paid media

  • Youare the Data Holdings SEO expert, keeping up with the most recent updates andensuring that we’re consistently monitoring and adjusting for the mosteffective, organic search.
  • Manageand select a paid media vendor
  • Test,measure and improve paid media ROI

Ownand manage the Data Holdings blog, webinars, social media and customer advocacyefforts

  • Maintaina consistent flow of blog posts, measuring success of the blogs and adjustingour approach and planned topics accordingly. Blogs will be authored by internal and external contributors and tied tokey campaigns and our overall marketing calendar
  • Buildcontent for and manage webinars on industry and product topics with assistancefrom other SMEs (internal and external)
  • Developa consistent flow of customer case studies, enhance those relationships andform the foundation for a future customer advocacy program
  • Write,co-write, and provide guidance on marketing content, such as white papers, casestudies, sales presentations, customer wins, contributed article content, andgeneral messaging
  • Driveand manage all of Data Holdings primary social media channels and ensure thatData Holdings is getting optimal engagement in social media across theorganization

Manageall webinar, social media and trade show programs, sales enablement/trainingefforts, and other areas as needed

  • Managewebinar, trade show and social media programs, especially the measurement ofthese program’s effectiveness
  • Assistin sales enablement (especially as it’s served through the digital channel) andmeasuring sales enablement effectiveness
  • Createreporting for other areas (i.e. PR) effectiveness as needed

Manageour Salesforce.com platform and the future marketing technology stack

  • Serveas primary system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment with DataHoldings users. Handle all basic administrative functions including useraccount maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks
  • Regularlyinterface with salesforce account management to assure that our deployment isbest in class
  • Researchand provide both on-going salesforce training and new hire training on theplatform. Create a Data Holdings UserGuide
  • Manageour current Mailchimp platform
  • Lookat future deployment of a social media scheduling tool like Buffer or Hootsuite
  • Lookfor future content management systems (CMS) that host our company website andblog
  • Researchanalytic tools for future use such as Kissmetrics or Google Analytics fortracking different marketing efforts
  • EvaluateMarketo and Salesforce.com Engage and ParDot
  • Buildthe 2-year roadmap for increasing the effectiveness and new SaaS sales tools asData Holdings continues to grow

Education

  • Undergraduateor Master’s degree in marketing, communications or related field
  • 5 –7 years marketing management experience with an emphasis on digital strategies
  • Musthave direct digital marketing management experience

Skills and Experience

  • Minimumof 5 – 7 years marketing management experience with an emphasis on digitalstrategies
  • Musthave direct digital marketing management experience
  • Motivated,self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellenttime management skills
  • Abilityto prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Detailoriented with great communication skills (oral and written)
  • Desireto learn and grow
  • Trustworthyand high degree of integrity
  • Experiencewith Office Suite (Word/PowerPoint/Excel/Access), along with social mediamanagement tools
