Central Garden & Pet Company (NASDAQ: CENT and CENTA) is a leading innovator, marketer and producer of quality branded products for the pet and lawn and garden supplies markets. Our Pet Segment is searching for a 2nd Shift Resource Tech at our Franklin, WI location.
This position will be responsible for various takes around the manufacturing plant. Job duties would include glass table loading, glass machine operator, aquarium assembly, and material handling as needed.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS
Operate forklift to bring materials to production areas.
Use RF guns to move product within the facility
Based on written production schedule, cut and stock daily glass production needs.
Determine machine program set-up for glass cutting according to work order for proper dimensions to be run.
Review production schedule and determine what size, quantity and location glass should be loaded.
Uses hand tools (prybar, hammer, band cutter, etc.) to open crates.
Clean up isles and reject glass.
Use pallet jacks to move pallets.
Get other supplies and materials for the department.
May rotate or be assigned as fill-in to other positions in department.
Daily cleanup of work area.
Other duties may be assigned
IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
Good hand-eye coordination
Perform repetitive tasks with speed and accuracy.
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Plant environment with periodic visits to the office area.
Exposed to any number of elements, but none present to the extent of being disagreeable.
Noise level in the work environment varies with specific areas requiring hearing protection.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
