Robert Half Legal has an exciting contract opportunity for a dedicated RECORDS Clerk looking to bring your talents to our brand. Our client is looking for a temporary Records Associate to support an a large law firm record project. This position will help maintain the client's database, fulfil client record requests, and complete special projects as needed. Our client maintains a drug-free workplace and performs pre-employment background and drug tests.
â¢ Creation of new files, following established procedures.
â¢ Data entry of all records into the client records management database.
â¢ Prepare records for offsite warehouse storage as necessary.
â¢ Locate files at client request for temporary use outside of the department.
â¢ Follow-up on files that have been released outside of the department to guarantee records are returned in a timely manner.
â¢ Generate reports from the records management database as requested.
â¢ Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information.
â¢ Communicate with manager and client on job or deadline issues.
â¢ Experience with imaging and database management or document management software a plus (LegalKey preferred)
â¢ High school diploma or equivalent.
â¢ Minimum of one-year legal records experience.
â¢ Exposure to litigation, intellectual property and/or trademark legal documents a plus.
â¢ Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
â¢ Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.
â¢ Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
â¢ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
â¢ Exceptional customer service skills.
â¢ Intermediate computer skills required.
â¢ Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
