As a Product Owner, you will be working closely in collaboration with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, key process owners across the company to understand data needs of our internal customers to improve customer experience on data utilization. To accomplish this, you will:

• Collaborate across business teams to create and document future state vision. Serve as voice of the business as a member of the agile team.

• Create new concepts designed to enable new and evolving business strategies, outlining a comprehensive product roadmap designed to enable necessary infrastructure to support business strategy

• Analyze new and existing business processes and systems looking for opportunities to streamline and automate.

• Comprehensive idea creation and distillation of complex business processes to design business solutions, business requirements, and product concepts.

• Develops and presents comprehensive proposals for product concepts to business community, refining based on feedback, driving buy-in and facilitating stakeholder acceptance throughout the delivery.

• Participates as a member of the agile team on a daily basis, responsible for the creation of features and user stories, maintaining and appropriate size backlog, and daily participation with the team as needed to provide details relative to 'what' needs to be delivered. Prioritize work and contribute to refinement of sprint planning to ensure value is delivered each sprint.

o Works with Business Analysts, Developers, and other resources, to ensure comprehensive understanding of the product goals and priorities

o Aligns priorities and outcomes to attainment of minimal viable product, ensuring maximum value attained for least amount of effort

• Translates business strategy and goals into technology deliverables

• Effectively prioritize requests to remain consistent with corporate priorities.

• Coordinate user acceptance testing to ensure business objectives are being met.

• Facilitate end-user adoption activities for training and rollout, including but not limited to training guides, policy and procedures, and additional change management activities as necessary

• Manage change dynamics while sustaining resiliency in delivering new products and work processes across the organization

Do you have what it takes?

• Effective translation of business strategy to technology features and priorities

• Experience with business process modeling tools and activities for shaping lean business processes

• In depth knowledge of residential mortgage industry and the role of mortgage insurance

• Agile methodology, practice and roadmap planning

• Project management principles and practices

• Change management practice; ability to address areas of transition or transformation of organizational goals and processes, as well as, their effect on the people involved

• Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization

• Strong critical thinking and ability to distil complex problems quickly

• Provide work direction

• More than 5-7 years of recent experience performing advanced work in area of specialization
