As a Business Analyst within our IS Security Team, you will be responsible for aligning technology solutions with business strategies, consulting with business/project owners to define business processes, develop technology concepts, and implement to user satisfaction.

You'll work with business units and technology teams to help understand Application, infrastructure or technology problems and translate that into a solution to be implemented by teams.

You'll work with Project Managers, Subject Matter Experts, and Developers/Engineers in the implementation process by ensuring that solutions deliver the results needed by the requestors. You'll also help broaden the business analysis practice in the IS teams and instilling best practices. This is accomplished by:

• Identifying, eliciting and having a clear understanding of the high-level business needs of business clients and stakeholders
• Mapping of current and desired states of business and technical processes
• Analyzing, documenting, and managing those requirements into detailed technical artifacts to enable the development/implementation & testing teams
• Critically evaluating information gathered from requirements and helping to reconcile any conflicts
• Providing analysis of requirements and solution options and preparing presentation of recommendation to management
• Developing Use Cases to be used by the QA and User Acceptance Testing teams to develop unit tests and UAT scripts
• Helping to coordinate QA and UAT
• Collaborating with and providing guidance and direction to Business Analyst Community

Do you have what it takes?

• Experience in transforming high level business requirements to workable artifacts
• Experience working in a variety of IS projects across different IS Departments
• Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum and/or Kanban
• Familiarity with waterfall methodology
• Familiarity with JIRA (or other defect tracking software)
