We're looking for a Software Engineer - Full Stack to build the next generation of digital tools (both front-end and back-end components) in support of our company's strategic objectives.

This project is focused on modernizing the customer enrollment process. You will participate in an agile team with 2 week sprints and daily stand ups.

Key Tech Stack: nodejs, react, javascript

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform analysis, design, build and maintain responsive web applications
  • Apply sound software engineering processes, including iterative development, unit testing, source code control, peer reviews and documentations
  • Develops software using established development and continuous integration practices
  • Learn the business while growing your technical skills
  • Utilizes established monitoring and automation processes
  • Work with other engineers on a collaborative Agile team to deliver code on an ongoing basis
  • Participates in setting team standards and best practices

Qualifications:
  • Ability to analyze, design, develop, deploy and support back-office facing web applications and services
  • Experience with engineering best practices to include analyzing, designing, developing, deploying, and supporting software solutions
  • JavaScript expertise (Node, React, etc.), HTML/CSS mastery, competency with CSS preprocessors (LESS, SASS)
  • 1-4 years of professional development experience
  • At least 1 year experience with specific technical requirements/platforms (i.e. React, NodeJS)
  • Experience with Git or other source control management
  • Familiarity and some experience with unit testing and automated testing
  • Familiarity using continuous integration and deployment concepts
  • Strong sense of ownership and the ability to drive assignments to completion
  • Effective communication skills: explain technical solutions to both engineering and non-technical teammates.
  • Enjoy fast-paced environments and working in teams
  • Team player: brings out the best in fellow engineers and plays well with product owners and designers
