Job Summary
The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring the company's Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve Marketing efforts and increase sales for all owned brands. This position reports to the VP of Marketing/ Creative, while collaborating significantly with the entire creative / branding team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
· Properly archive photos, videos and files in the digital asset management system.
· Provide marketing support to brand events such as fundraising events, influencer/ ambassador events, training events, community events and other special events including attending, helping with set up/tear down and presentation support.
· All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· 1-2+ years of digital marketing/advertising/ public relations experience.
· 1+ years as a Copywriter.
· Experience developing written and visual content across multiple channels (web, mobile, email, search) with an emphasis on social media.
· Working knowledge and strong interest in understanding of SEO best practices.
· Excellent writing and editing skills, along with the ability to curate compelling graphic imagery.
· Creative; an eye for finding why resale matters and speaking in the voice of the customer.
· Experience working with Google Analytics and social insight tools.
· Well versed in creating for social media platforms, such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, etc.
· Expertise in the craft of copywriting that connects emotionally and rationally through digital touchpoints.
· Deep understanding of brand and the customer, and the ability to convey that understanding through impactful, engagement-driving digital experiences.
· Expertise in digital marketing creative best practices for delivering customer-focused communications that grab/earn the customer’s attention.
· A commitment to ongoing, productive collaboration and teamwork.
· Expertise in holistic digital engagement across all channels, platforms and devices.
· Ability (and enthusiasm) for the creative and technical process.
· Highly organized, deadline driven, and able to prioritize multiple tasks in fast paced environment.
· Self-starter with ability and desire to work independently.
· Strong interpersonal, communication, time management, file management, and organizational skills. Ability to communicate concerns and roadblocks and anticipate potential issues.
· Resourceful, quick and agile.
· Friendly, self-motivated, goal-oriented, creative, professional, who can work in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to coordinate multiple projects concurrently, manage levels of priority and meet deadlines.

· Flexibility in hours and schedule, including occasional weekends and travel.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. Performing the duties of this job include: contact with dry dairy products, frequent exposure to airborne particles. A portion of the work may be performed in the plant where the noise may be loud. Almost always work indoors. May on rare occasions work outdoors. Often share office space with co-workers. High level of social interaction.
