Job Summary

The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring the company's Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve Marketing efforts and increase sales for all owned brands. This position reports to the VP of Marketing/ Creative, while collaborating significantly with the entire creative / branding team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Campaign ideation to plan and develop content calendars that reach brand targets, supports strategic initiatives and cultivates social growth and engagement.
  • Use tools such as Google Analytics and social insights to audit, analyze, monitor and produce monthly social media recaps.
  • Manage ongoing communication with internal and external marketing, pr, communications, and sales partners.
  • Manage, measure, research and report analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify and analyze social media trends by assisting in vetting new social media solutions; identifying new social sites; building brand presence.
  • Design, coordinate and implement omni-channel content and paid placement strategies that integrate web, mobile, email, search, social media and online marketing optimized for intended audiences.
  • Collaborate with the internal marketing department and vendor partners in a coordinated effort to develop and execute digital and social campaigns.
  • Manage and report on social media advertising placements.
  • Create, capture and disseminate relevant content.
  • Creating digital marketing (paid/owned/earned) from insights to implementation and developing integrated marketing campaigns that encompass the entire spectrum of digital experiences.
  • Shaping customer experiences across all digital touchpoints – from websites and landing pages to online advertising and distributed branded content, including animated and live-action video.
  • Thinking conceptually, in partnership with the Creative team, during brainstorming and idea generation.
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure digital campaigns/programs meet business objectives and align with brand and technology standards.

· Properly archive photos, videos and files in the digital asset management system.

· Provide marketing support to brand events such as fundraising events, influencer/ ambassador events, training events, community events and other special events including attending, helping with set up/tear down and presentation support.

· All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· 1-2+ years of digital marketing/advertising/ public relations experience.

· 1+ years as a Copywriter.

· Experience developing written and visual content across multiple channels (web, mobile, email, search) with an emphasis on social media.

· Working knowledge and strong interest in understanding of SEO best practices.

· Excellent writing and editing skills, along with the ability to curate compelling graphic imagery.

· Creative; an eye for finding why resale matters and speaking in the voice of the customer.

· Experience working with Google Analytics and social insight tools.

· Well versed in creating for social media platforms, such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, etc.

· Expertise in the craft of copywriting that connects emotionally and rationally through digital touchpoints.

· Deep understanding of brand and the customer, and the ability to convey that understanding through impactful, engagement-driving digital experiences.

· Expertise in digital marketing creative best practices for delivering customer-focused communications that grab/earn the customer’s attention.

· A commitment to ongoing, productive collaboration and teamwork.

· Expertise in holistic digital engagement across all channels, platforms and devices.

· Ability (and enthusiasm) for the creative and technical process.

· Highly organized, deadline driven, and able to prioritize multiple tasks in fast paced environment.

· Self-starter with ability and desire to work independently.

· Strong interpersonal, communication, time management, file management, and organizational skills. Ability to communicate concerns and roadblocks and anticipate potential issues.

· Resourceful, quick and agile.

· Friendly, self-motivated, goal-oriented, creative, professional, who can work in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to coordinate multiple projects concurrently, manage levels of priority and meet deadlines.

· Ability to handle constructive feedback/direction with a positive, can-do attitude.

· Flexibility in hours and schedule, including occasional weekends and travel.

Education & Experience:

  • BA in Marketing or Communications (Preferred)
  • Relevant experience in social media management, communications, public relations, or marketing: 1-3 years

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. Performing the duties of this job include: contact with dry dairy products, frequent exposure to airborne particles. A portion of the work may be performed in the plant where the noise may be loud. Almost always work indoors. May on rare occasions work outdoors. Often share office space with co-workers. High level of social interaction.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to go up/down stairs, use hands to: finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to drive to our different facilities.
