Candidates should have strong technical skills and at least five years' experience in the following:

• Network Design and Management

o Architect and manage business-class networks including ability to configure VLANs.

o Configure and manage Checkpoint, SonicWall or CISCO firewalls.

o Configure remote access using VPN or RDS.

• Windows Servers

o Configure/manage Windows server operating systems including Server 2012 R2.

o Configure/manage virtual machines using Microsoft Hyper-V or VMware.

o Implement and manage Active Directory and DNS services.

o Setup and troubleshoot Terminal Server.

o Setup and manage network security and file/folder security.

o Manage certificates in Certificate Authority.

• Exchange Servers

o Install and manage Exchange (on client's server or as Hosted Exchange/Office365).

o Configure mail security, e.g. sender policy, recipient filtering, block lists.

o Backup/restore mailboxes and public folders.

o Install and configure Exchange clients, including VPN access.

o Database and PST management.

o Outlook Web Access.

• Windows PCs

o Install and manage Windows operating systems in both Workgroup and Domain environments.

o Set up new PCs and migrate applications/data from old PC to new PC.

o Working knowledge of common Windows applications (MS Office, Adobe Apps, etc.).

o Troubleshoot and repair common hardware problems to the subassembly level (power supply failure, hard drive failure, video graphics card failure, etc.).

• Apple technologies & Windows network integration

o Integrate mobile devise (Smartphones, tablet computers) into Windows networks.

o Strong Macintosh knowledge and troubleshooting.

• Other Valuable Skills

o Experience with physical installation of new facilities (including the ability to punch down Ethernet jacks, patch panels, etc.)

o Experience with AutoTask or similar ticketing solution a plus.

o Experience with scripting (Powershell or similar) and automation of tasks a plus.

o Experience with remote management systems (Kaseya, ConnectWise or similar).

o Experience with Windows SCCM a plus.

Measurement: This position will be evaluated, in part, based on the following outcomes.

• Completion of assigned tasks

• Use and updating of the ticketing system which tracks customer problems/requests/incidents and billable/non-billable time to clients

• Effectiveness of communications with customers

Work Environment:

• This position works within an office environment. Professionalism and discretion are required. If you do not have the proper experience, Do Not Apply.

• Position will be required to hear and talk on a telephone, communicate with clients and other stakeholders, use a computer and software applications, and sit for short periods of time.

• Position requires that employee be able to sit, stand, bend, and be able to crawl under and around furniture, cabinets and other equipment.

• Compensation based on performance and measurements noted above and agreed upon at previous performance discussions.
