The Director of Marketing & Digital will be responsible for implementing the marketing of the Wisconsin Herd with administration, marketing efforts, strategy, analysis, and brand development in accordance with the direction of the Milwaukee Bucks Marketing Team. The Director of Marketing & Digital will report directly to the President and will interface with all other departments of the company as needed to achieve goals including interfacing with the Milwaukee Bucks Marketing and Digital teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise and delegate responsibilities to the Marketing & Digital team
Coordinate all fan pack requests
Develop and manage media buy plan for local market and outer market to ensure an ROI is in place for team advertising especially through driving walk-up tickets.
Write and develop team’s e-newsletters
Manages Team website layout and content updates
Lead/attend meetings to plan, strategize and implement new and existing special events
Day to day project management for the department
Collaborate with Director of Ticket Sales to analyze, develop and implement marketing and sales campaigns including Group Sales Managers on group and single game initiatives
Participate in development of promotional events and campaigns to support sales efforts
Measure ROI on advertising & promotional programs to increase the effectiveness and reduce the costs of sale
Develop and manage fan and customer surveys, including evaluation of NBA research.
Manage the Graphic Design process internally and within the Milwaukee Bucks
Annual Projects
Update Team website and social media accounts to reflect updates for a new upcoming season
Oversee development and production of marketing and sales collateral materials in collaboration with other departments that includes ticket design, credentials, game day program, digital graphics, sponsorship activation elements and related materials
Work with Director of PR/CR to produce and design game day program
Collaborate with PR/CR Director to manage, plan and execute fan engagement events including but not limited to: Season Ticket Holder events, Bar Network, and Draft Party
Game Day Responsibilities
Delegate any and all mentioned below to Marketing Digital Team
Take Photos, Videos and post engaging content live on all Team Social platforms
Update and ensure that Snapchat Filter is up and running each game night
Create photo albums on respective social platforms
Capture theme and excitement of game
Qualifications
Must have at least 7+ years of experience in a Marketing, Digital, or similar role
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Sports Administration or a related degree
Strong writing and communication skills, both technical and creative
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive tasks simultaneously
Willingness to work non-traditional work hours (including nights and weekends)
Detail-orientated with the ability to manage projects from inception through execution
Proven leadership ability to influence, develop and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach
Dynamic personality that can present and integrate across departments
